Health information that addresses this publication is the exchanged between users, management and professionals. The discussion group is a qualitative research technique, used to collect the needs of information in the users of the health services in the urban primary care of Salamanca. Structural analysis variables were: gender, age, educational level and membership or associations related to health system. The highlights in the speeches: the information needs of health and disease, the health care system, media and the barriers in the information. Also different intentions in each message contents are perceived: such as the need for information, observation, and demands for improvement. The results suggest different patterns of information needs and intentionality as variables. To understand and interpret these needs, can be used to improve communication with the user at the same time promotes a safe and committed quality to the patient care and health care, increasing resources efficiency.
