Efectividad versus toxicidad del bendazac lisina como inhibidor de la proliferación de células epiteliales de cristalino en cultivo
Posterior capsular opacification is a common long-term complication after cataract surgery, the only treatment is currently capsulotomy with Nd: YAG laser, procedure that is not without risks. We propose an in vitro study in which we analyze the capacity of Bendazac lysine to inhibit the proliferation of lens epithelial cells in culture as well as check the toxicity that this substance induce on the corneal endothelium, to establish their possible use in ocular surgery as an inhibitor of posterior capsular opacification.
