Profane vocal music scene of Castile and Leon from 1985 -1994, through
unpublished primary sources and other already recorded, based on the material of the RNE radio programmes Raíces y El Candil .
It is also includes the most representative performers, musical genres linked to the profane vocal repertoire, the social and cultural context in which these tunes were performed, as well as the organological vision of folk instruments, the new sounds, musical structures, poetry and the most characteristic rhythms, etc. All thanks to the fieldwork done by Gonzalo Pérez and Ramón Marijuán Adrián, accompanied by Luis González Jiménez and Néstor Valdivielso Cuñado as sound technicians.
The accompanying six hundred forty-eight musical documents enclosed to this research, after study and transcription, are added to the intangible cultural heritage of Castile and Leon.
