La evolución de la identidad regional en los territorios del antiguo Reino de León
This research studies the territorial problem that exists in the spanish provinces of
Salamanca, Zamora and Leon, historically integrated into the Kingdom or region of
Leon. In them, the acceptance of the autonomous community of Castile and Leon,
contrasts with the desire of a part of its citizens which wants to make a leonese
autonomy formed by these three provinces.
The present study aims to answer, from the view of political science, at all the factors
that form this issue. For this, the research has been supported in other areas of
knowledge, such as sociology, economy, history or law, which have interesting
elements that contribute to understand the leonese issue.
